Sshh, I’m still doing some sewing projects now. There’s one recycle project, one remake project and two others just sewing. I have to allocate my time doing these projects while working on my thesis. *sigh* Hope I can post it soon after I finish it 🙂
Isn’t it cute? I made this pouch actually for Ipod, my sister Ipod. Why I made two? Here’s the reason, this little pouch only for the Ipod, the cable can’t go through in. So, when she goes to a party and bring a small purse with her, this pouch can fit in it. Yap, I used Batik fabric again, but different color with other pouch, it’s blue and so cool.
I put the pink zipper to make it different and outstanding. Also I added a handle, so she hold it easy on her wrist. Even I wasn’t satisfied with the stitches, but I like it, it’s so adorable pouch.
Hiya…here again the finished project I’ve made. My sister wanted to have an ipod pouch, because her’s old pouch isn’t looks good anymore. She wanted to have a handle and can put the earphone too in it. So, I drawn a pattern (even it’s so simple pattern) and then I sew it, put here and that..ta-da the new pouch is ready! My sister love it 🙂 What do you think of it?
Also I made like a two other things for her, same fabric, which is batik. I used printed batik not block printed batik or written batik. Why? My reason is I’m still learning to sew, it’s better not ruin a worthy piece of block printed or written batik as my sewing experiment 🙂 Sure, someday I’ll use both of that fabrics, because they’re very unique pattern fabric, artistic, handmade, and not produce a lot which makes the product worthy.
Okay, here’s the first page 😛
I made this purse because my card purse was broken and has an old look. I wanted new and cheap one, without spending money (this is impossible, because I need to buy hard fabric for the interfacing and short zipper). Also there a blouse of my sister’s, she gave it to me because she’s not fitted in it anymore. So, I got an idea to remake the blouse and used the sleeve to be my card purse. Perfect!
So I cut here and there, sewed it, and voila, the purse is ready… I’m very happy 🙂 I can put my driver’s license card, atm card, and all cards I have.
as you can see, the stitches wasn’t neatly, but this was my first sewing project after long time I didn’t sew since junior high school.
